Frequently Asked Questions

Can I play tennis on Clifton Meadows’ courts when the club is closed?

Clifton Meadows’ active members may purchase a tennis key to access the club's tennis courts during off-hours and off-season for $50.

During the operating season, you may purchase a key on your MemberSplash account. Please bring a copy of your receipt to the club, and the manager will give you a key upon proof of purchase. Alternatively, you may purchase a key with cash/check at the club.

If you missed the opportunity to buy a key during the operating season, please contact info@cliftonmeadows.com. The bookkeeper will arrange for payment and pickup of the key.

Please note: Regardless of when you purchased your key, the locks are changed every Father's Day weekend. You will need to purchase another tennis key at this time for continued, full-time access to the courts.

May I take tennis lessons at Clifton Meadows without joining the club?

Non-members may take private lessons from the club’s pro; however, they may use Clifton Meadows's tennis courts only during their lesson(s). Non-member tennis students do not have access to the club's other facilities, e.g., pools, picnic areas, etc., and may not buy a key to the courts for off-hours play, nor may they participate in the free tennis clinics offered to club members. If you are interested in private lessons, please contact the club's pro, Tony Lamy, at 513-702-8675. If you are interested in joining Clifton Meadows, please email us at info@cliftonmeadows.com.

Can I host a party at Clifton Meadows?

Clifton Meadows encourages members to use the club to host parties. However, because the club must maintain a safe and fun environment for all members, we ask that you please notify the manager of the intended date and number of guests via info@cliftonmeadows.com before you send your invitations. If you are planning to invite a large number of people (> 20) and/or host a party on one of the club's busiest days (Memorial Day, July 4, or Labor Day weekend), you will need to obtain approval from the manager to schedule your party, and the manager may kindly ask that you make some concessions to ensure that our members have access and space to enjoy the club.

On the day of the party, hosts may secure the table(s) they need and decorate for the party, but please be mindful of the needs of other members as well. We regret that we cannot allow access to the facility before the club's standard operating hours. We also ask that hosts please remind the on-site manager and alert the front desk clerk who will keep a record of your guests. The club will ask the host to pay a guest fee for all guests who are not active members of Clifton Meadows.

Does Clifton Meadows have pickleball?

Yes! Clifton Meadows has three pickleball courts. The farthermost of the back tennis courts is lined for two, and the other is located on the recreational court just outside of the club's fenced perimeter. Members may borrow nets, paddles, and balls on a first-come/first-served basis at the front desk.
